A Winnipeg cyclist is in critical condition following a collision Thursday morning.
Police were called to the area of Cockburn Street and Wellington Crescent Thursday morning for the crash involving a cyclist and a vehicle.
Police have closed Wellington Crescent between Dorchester Avenue and Hugo Street for their investigation. Officers at the scene were seen placing evidence markers on the ground, while a bike was on the grass near a sidewalk.
Police said the driver was taken to hospital in critical condition. They said an update on the crash is likely coming on Friday.
