The Manitoba Southeast Commerce Group Chamber is inviting the public to its fall networking and entertainment event on Nov. 16, at the TC Energy Centre in Ile des Chênes. This event promises an engaging evening of networking, games, and live entertainment aimed at fostering connections and community involvement.

This year’s gathering offers an inviting atmosphere where attendees can mingle with local business leaders, community members, and regional stakeholders while enjoying drinks and appetizers. Beginning at 6:30 pm, the event includes a range of activities designed to entertain and connect people.
Among the highlights is the networking segment, providing ample opportunities to meet and connect. Attendees can also look forward to live performances, including a magician and a comedy show to add humour to the evening. The night’s centrepiece is the “Community Feud Game Show,” a Family Feud-style competition. Public servants and audience members will team up to answer trivia in a friendly rivalry, with winners claiming prizes and bragging rights.

According to Marc Palud, executive director of the chamber, the goal is to bring together community members, leaders, and other stakeholders in an interactive setting. “We’re excited to see the region’s community spirit come alive through laughter, competition, and connection,” he said.
The game show portion will feature five rounds, with matchups like Public Servants vs. Citizens, Chambers of Commerce volunteers vs. Citizens, and even a Media Team vs. Citizens. These rounds promise to keep audiences engaged as teams face off for local pride.
Tickets for the event are $30 plus GST and cover admission, entry into prize draws valued at over $2,000, a complimentary drink, appetizers, and access to a cash bar.
