A 15-year-old boy from Lake St. Martin First Nation was arrested in connection with the shooting death Wednesday of a 32-year-old woman at a residence in the community.
On Thursday, the youth was charged with second-degree murder and remanded into custody.

RCMP Major Crime Services continue to investigate.
At approximately 9 a.m., Gypsumville RCMP were called to a report of a shooting at a residence in Lake St. Martin First Nation. Officers responded immediately and located a deceased woman on scene. Her death was investigated as a homicide.
The incident does not appear to be random.
