Winnipeg Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in locating a suspected shoplifter. To help generate tips, Crime Stoppers released a photo.

An unknown person attended a retail store in the 2300 block of McPhillips on May 22, 2024, and selected merchandise before exiting the store without paying for it, Crime Stoppers said. When the suspect was approached by store staff, he allegedly produced weapons which caused the employees to back off and allow the suspect to flee.

The person in this photo is of interest and may be able to provide police with information about these offences. These images are released for identification purposes only and the subjects may or may not be responsible for the crime indicated, Crime Stoppers said.
