EYE ON CRIME: Police ask for help finding robbery, shoplifting suspects

Winnipeg Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help to locate a suspect in a home robbery and another from a shoplifting incident. To help generate tips, Crime Stoppers released photos.

On Aug. 14, an unknown person broke into the garage at the rear of a residence in the 1000 block of Sherburn and stole assorted property. When the suspect was confronted by the homeowner he brandished a weapon in a threatening manner and then fled the area on the bicycle he had just stolen.

On Sept. 19, 2023, an unknown person in a retail store in the 400 block of River began to select and conceal merchandise in a bag they were carrying. The suspect then exited the business making no attempt to pay for the merchandise.
