EYE ON CRIME: Police seek help identifying pair of homicide suspects

Winnipeg Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help to locate two suspects in separate homicides. To help generate tips, Crime Stoppers released photos.

Devon Colomb is wanted for being an accessory to the murder of Ashley Murdock which occurred in the 300 block of Edmonton Street sometime between June 24 and July 5 of 2024. Police advise that no one approach Colomb as he is considered violent and has access to weapons.

Three suspects were previously arrested and charged while a Colomb remains at large. A 32-year-old woman was charged with second-degree murder, while a 28-year-old man and a 38-year-old man were each charged with accessory to murder. All three are in custody.

Breanne Bruyere is wanted for manslaughter and obstruct justice in relation to the Edgar Bear homicide that occurred in the 1000 block of Selkirk Avenue on March 18, 2024.

A 27-year-old man was previously arrested and charged with second-degree murder in the killing of Bear. He also faces a first-degree murder charge in the shooting death of Robert Clayton Smith, 35, on March 16 and second-degree murder charge in the shooting death of 25-year-old Daniel Raymond Garvey-Rodriguez on Sept. 10, 2023.
