EYE ON CRIME: Police seek help locating a pair of assault suspects

Winnipeg Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help to locate a person who assaulted a bus driver and another who injured a boy by pushing him off his scooter. To help generate tips, Crime Stoppers released photos.

On Oct. 11 an unknown suspect was a passenger on a Winnipeg Transit bus when, without provocation, he moved to the front of the bus and began to attack the victim/bus driver. The suspect threw several punches at the victim and managed to land one to his head. The suspect then fled the bus before police arrived.

On Oct. 19 an 11-year-old victim was riding his scooter in the vicinity of Norquay School when without provocation an unknown male pushed him off the scooter causing him to land on and fracture his wrist. The victim was in severe pain but managed to make his way home with the assistance of some friends.
