EYE ON CRIME: Police seek help locating a porch pirate and a shoplifter

Winnipeg Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help to locate a porch pirate and a shoplifter. To help generate tips, Crime Stoppers released photos.

On Oct. 12 a person went to a residence in the 300 block of Harbison Avenue and stole a package that had just been delivered.

On Oct. 22 a person entered a retail store in the 3400 block of Pembina Highway and loaded a shopping cart full of merchandise. The suspect then made his way to the front of the store and went to the exit without paying for this merchandise. When store employees approached the suspect he threatened them with a weapon he was holding in his hand. The suspect then fled the store before police could arrive.
