EYE ON CRIME: Police seek help locating suspects in a pair of robberies

Winnipeg Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help to locate suspects in a pair of store robberies. To help generate tips, Crime Stoppers released photos.

On Sept. 3, two people entered a convenience store in the 900 block of Selkirk Avenue armed with weapons. Police said one of the suspects approached an employee at the store’s cash register and assaulted the employee while demanding cash as the second suspect acted as a lookout. Both suspects then fled the store.

On Sept. 9, two unknown people entered a retail store in the 100 block of Main Street and began to fill a basket with merchandise. The two suspects were approached by a store employee when they were leaving the store without paying for this merchandise. The employee backed away when the suspect produced a knife and the two suspects fled the area.
