Four men, two women charged in North End drug bust

Four men and two women face charges following raid on a North End residence last month where fentanyl, methamphetamine and two motorcycles were seized.

Members of the Guns and Gangs Unit, with assistance from the Tactical Support Team (TST), and Community Support Units, executed a search warrant on a residence in the 1200 block of Selkirk Avenue on July 31 at around 8:50 p.m. Officers arrested six individuals: four men and two women.

As a result of the search warrant, officers seized a red 2000 Honda CBR600F4 motorcycle, a red Johnny Pag Street motorcycle, 4.5 grams of fentanyl, 1.9 grams of methamphetamine, gang-affiliated clothing and leather vests and two rounds of .22 calibre ammunition.

All six individuals have been charged with possession of property obtained by crime. As well, a 39-year-old man from Lake House First Nation has been charged with trafficking cocaine and methamphetamine while a 51-year-old man and 31-year-old woman both from Winnipeg have been charged with possession of fentanyl and methamphetamine. All were detained in custody.
