Gimli RCMP search for missing man who may be in Winnipeg

Gimli RCMP are asking for the public’s help to find an elderly man from the RM of Gimli who has been missing since Thursday evening and may be in Winnipeg.

Gerard Dubois, 63, was last seen on Thursday at around 7:30 p.m., at his residence on Hansson Avenue in the RM of Gimli. He left his residence in a red 2008 Ford Escape with Manitoba Licence plate HAJ 859.

Dubois is five-foot-11, 140 lbs with brown hair, brown eyes and a mustache. He was last seen wearing a red shirt, red pants and a green and black plaid jacket.

He may have been heading to the St. Vital area of Winnipeg or Ile des Chenes.

Dubois may be disoriented and police and family are concerned for his well-being.
