“Dive into winter and the new year by making it your resolution to have more fun, activity, and community connection in 2025,” said Sara Stasiuk, Chief Executive Officer of The Forks North Portage. “We’ve got a great lineup of events and performances for all to enjoy as you reset for the year ahead.”

Within the market, you’ll find drag and DJ performances curated by Synonym Art Consultation. Kids of all ages can play board games and make crafts in the lounge on the second floor. Adrienne Shum and fellow instructors will also be offering yoga, connect, and mobility classes in the event space on the second floor. Classes are free, with limited spots available for online registration.

Outdoors, enjoy musical performances from a local lineup of musicians and DJs performing by the Canopy Rink, learn to skate with skating lessons on the Canopy Rink, and join the storyteller Elder Barbara Nepinak around the fire inside the teepee.

Gather within the Agowiidiwinan Centre to listen to local speakers and participate in workshops.

All of the day’s events are free to attend and can be viewed on The Fork’s website closer to New Year’s Day.
