A man is dead after an officer-involved shooting in Niverville during the early-morning hours.
RCMP said the incident happened about 3 a.m. on Drovers Run, in the west part of the community about 40 kilometres south of Winnipeg.
A female is in custody while a male fled the scene in a stolen vehicle, police said in a news release.
Few other details are available. RCMP officers and Winnipeg police are in the area and the road is expected to be blocked for most of the day.
