“We know that every Manitoban has an interest in the activities and actions we undertake as the province’s largest energy supplier,” said Scott Powell, Manitoba Hydro’s director of corporate communications. “Our goal is to lead as an environmental steward, a progressive and fair employer, and an active contributor to our province’s social fabric and economic growth.”
The report, covering the fiscal year from April 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024, outlines Manitoba Hydro’s ESG efforts, including employee contributions and year-over-year progress.
“This year’s report once again features the many varied contributions our employees have made to deliver on that goal,” Powell added. “As Manitobans serving Manitobans, each employee has a vested interest in how the work we do contributes to our province every day, now and into the future. Our ESG report demonstrates our transparency and commitment to ethical and environmental responsibilities.”
