The study, which analyzed data from provinces with a minimum of 10 hospitals reviewed by at least 25 individuals, highlighted Manitoba’s hospitals with an average rating of 3.28 across 19 facilities.

The study’s findings highlight Manitoba’s success in delivering hospital care that meets or exceeds public expectations, contributing positively to the province’s health-care landscape.

Following closely behind Manitoba in the rankings is British Columbia, securing second place with an average rating of 3.24 across 66 hospitals. Quebec and Saskatchewan claimed the third and fourth positions, respectively, with average ratings of 3.23 and 3.235, based on evaluations from 138 and 17 hospitals.

Conversely, New Brunswick found itself at the bottom of the rankings, garnering the lowest average star rating of 2.79 across 15 hospitals analyzed. The study underscores significant variations in public perception of hospital quality across provinces, reflecting diverse experiences and expectations of health care delivery.

A spokesperson from Preszler Injury Lawyers emphasized the importance of patient satisfaction in health-care outcomes.

“The ranking provides valuable insights into how hospital care is perceived by the public in different regions,” the spokesperson noted in a press release Wednesday. “Ensuring high-quality care that meets patient expectations is crucial for maintaining public trust and encouraging timely medical intervention.”
