The Manitoba government is inviting Interlake residents to provide feedback on the design and development of the new Eriksdale emergency room. A project open house will occur on March 6 at the Eriksdale Recreation Centre.

Residents will have multiple ways to contribute, including an online survey on the Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority’s website. The government encourages participation from all community members to help shape the facility.
Consultation meetings are being held throughout February and early March. The project team will meet with frontline staff, physicians, municipal and First Nation leaders, tribal health directors, and other health-care partners. The goal is to incorporate community input into the renovation plans and ensure the new emergency department meets local needs.
