The Manitoba government will present its plans for the upcoming year in a speech from the throne on Nov. 19, Premier Wab Kinew announced. The speech will outline the government’s priorities and set the direction for the legislative session ahead.

Premier Kinew said they have made progress the past year, including efforts to address health-care challenges and initiatives aimed at reducing costs for Manitobans. He stated that the throne speech would focus on the issues most important to the province.
According to the premier, the government’s priorities for the year ahead will include continued work on improving health care, stimulating economic growth, enhancing public safety, and addressing affordability concerns for Manitobans.
The second session of Manitoba’s 43rd legislature will open at 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 19 with the reading of the speech from the throne by Lieutenant Governor Anita Neville. The speech will set the tone for the government’s policy agenda and legislative efforts in the coming year.
