The social media vote is in, but Manitobans can still have their say on the design for the province’s new health card.

Premier Wab Kinew floated three designs for a new plastic version of the card on his Instagram page a couple of weeks ago, and noted there on Tuesday that the northern lights won “overwhelmingly” over fellow iconic symbols the bison and a polar bear.
However, you can still pick your favourite design at EngageMB through Sept. 29.
“The initial response to our new health card designs was amazing,” Kinew said in a news release. “However, we want to make sure that all Manitobans have the opportunity to provide feedback on which card best reflects our unique province and people. Let us know and have a say about our province’s new health card.”
The public is also reminded to review current health cards to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
