In Friday’s early hours, Winnipeg police responded to a home invasion on Emerson Avenue.

At approximately 3:45 a.m., two men broke into a residence in the 100 block of the street.
Inside the home, a 19-year-old and a 20-year-old man were home when the suspects entered and assaulted one of the men. The suspects fled the scene, making their escape down Henderson Highway. No descriptions of the suspects have been provided by police at this time.
The injured man was taken to the hospital in stable condition where he received treatment for his injuries.
