Shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Monday, the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a serious collision at McPhillips Street and Machray Avenue involving a passenger vehicle and a pedestrian.

The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service transported the adult female pedestrian to the hospital with serious injuries. Her identity has not yet been released.
The investigation revealed that the pedestrian was crossing westbound McPhillips Street at Machray Avenue when she was struck by a 2018 Nissan Titan travelling northbound. The 50-year-old driver remained on scene and spoke with officers from the North District General Patrol.
The Traffic Division’s Collision Investigation Section is handling the investigation.
