This focus on creativity and mental well-being is what makes the partnership between Pop CoLab and North Forge so exciting. By joining forces, these two organizations are creating a dynamic environment where innovation and personal growth go hand in hand.

North Forge operates one of North America’s largest fabrication labs, located in the heart of the Exchange District. It’s where ideas are transformed into something tangible, by offering access to $4M worth of advanced equipment including a carpentry room, metal room, 3D printing room, and more. The FabLab helps Manitoban makers and entrepreneurs lower the cost of prototyping products and reduces the time it takes to get them done.

Paolo Riva, the current Maker-in-Residence at the FabLab, says, “There’s a wealth of skills and experience here, and the equipment is incredible. For a relatively low fee, you get access to millions of dollars worth of equipment that I wouldn’t have access to otherwise. Plus, with digital fabrication, you can take your creativity even further.”
