RCMP investigators have determined that the last physical trace of Xavia dates back to about a year before her remains were found. Despite her disappearance, no missing person report was ever filed for Xavia. Investigators are now asking the public to help them establish a clearer timeline of her final months.

“We are looking for any photos taken of Xavia after March 2022,” said Corporal Jill Slobodzian from RCMP Major Crime Services. “Photos with date and time stamps could help us understand her life during that time. Anyone who saw Xavia after March 2022 is also urged to contact us with any information.”

On June 3, Gypsumville RCMP responded to the report of human remains on the property. RCMP Major Crime Services, Forensic Identification Services, Police Dog Services, Search and Rescue, and a Forensic Anthropology team have been assisting with the investigation and area search. The RCMP continues to investigate.

Anyone with information, photos, or details about Xavia is asked to call the RCMP Major Crime Services tip line at 431-489-8112.
