Residents are encouraged to confirm their snow zone letters by downloading the Know Your Zone app, using the city’s interactive snow map, or contacting 311. Alternate parking arrangements are recommended during the 12-hour period when specific streets are scheduled for clearing.
Winter route parking restrictions will be suspended until the residential ban ends on Saturday morning. At that time, regular winter parking rules will resume, prohibiting parking on designated winter routes between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m. daily.
The city has outlined a rotating schedule for snow clearing:
Wednesday, December 18, 7 p.m. to Thursday, December 19, 7 a.m.: Zones C, F, H, N, S, U
Thursday, December 19, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.: Zones D, I, K, O, R, T
Thursday, December 19, 7 p.m. to Friday, December 20, 7 a.m.: Zones E, G, J, L, M, P, Q
Friday, December 20, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.: Zones B, V
Friday, December 20, 7 p.m. to Saturday, December 21, 7 a.m.: Zone A
Residents are reminded to obey any temporary or unrelated parking restrictions, such as no parking during rush hour or loading zones.
If a street appears to have been missed, crews may return before the residential parking ban ends. If it remains uncleared after 7 a.m. on Saturday, December 21, residents can report it by contacting 311.
The city advises residents to check their snow zones and plan accordingly to avoid delays or fines during snow-clearing operations.
