Manitoba RCMP announced Tuesday that their Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) arrested a 20-year-old Steinbach man on Aug. 24 for online communication with minors for a sexual purpose, and he has been charged with two counts of luring a child.

Police also released what they said is an Avatar that was used online and are asking anyone with information to contact the ICE Unit at 204-984-3129.

“While investigators conducted an analysis of the data extracted from the digital devices seized in the investigation, they have located several victims that they have not been able to identify,” RCMP said.
