A five-ton transport truck collided with a grader on an all-weather road about 20 km south of Berens River killing the driver.
RCMP said the truck, being driven by a 63-year-old male from the RM of St Andrews, was travelling northbound when it struck the right-hand side of the blade and rear portion of a grader which was also travelling northbound on the all-weather road. The transport truck then rolled onto its side and into the ditch. The 63-year-old male driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 40-year-old male operator of the grader was not physically injured.
Berens River RCMP continue to investigate.
