Two hopefuls bidding for Tory party leadership

After Monday’s noon nomination deadline passed, two names were entered into the Progressive Conservative Party of Manitoba leadership race.

The Tory leadership election committee has approved an application for leadership from Tory MLA Obby Khan and is reviewing an application from Manitoba businessman Wally Daudrich.

The party’s first leadership event will be held on Oct. 30, at the Delta Hotel. Approved leadership candidates will sit down with former Radisson PC MLA James Teitsma to discuss their vision for the party and our province and answer questions from the public.
