A woman told Winnipeg police she was touched in an inappropriate sexual manner by a man while she was taking out the trash at a public resource centre on Sunday at about 11:00 a.m., in the 100 block of Disraeli Freeway. He then grabbed her shirt to keep her from leaving, police said. She broke free, ran into the centre and called police.

The man was found in the area and arrested. He remains in police custody.

Police said the suspect had been released on an appearance notice after exposing himself in a back lane of King Street on June 10 at about 2:45 p.m. Officers responding to the report found him still exposing himself while appearing to be under the influence of methamphetamines, police said. He faces a charge of committing an indecent act.
