A Winnipeg man is in hospital after being struck by a vehicle Monday evening.

Winnipeg police report they responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian shortly before 7 p.m. at the intersection of Regent Avenue West and Stapon Road. The pedestrian, a man in his 30s, was transported to hospital in unstable condition, where he remains under medical care.

The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with police. Traffic Collision Investigators are now handling the case, and no charges have been laid.
