Winnipeg police arrest fourth suspect in homicide from July

Winnipeg police have arrested a fourth suspect wanted in the homicide of Ashley Isabella Murdock, whose body was found on July 5.

Police arrested a 26-year-old on Sunday on a warrant for accessory to murder.

He is in custody.

Charges against the fourth suspect come as part of the ongoing investigation into the death of Murdock, whose body was discovered in an apartment complex in the 300 block of Kennedy Street, but investigators determined that her body had been moved from another location.

Three suspects — a 32-year-old charged with second-degree murder, and 28-year-old and a 32-year-old were charged with accessory to murder —  were previously charged and all remain in custody.
