Winnipeg police arrested a man late Monday morning in connection with a robbery from December 2024.

Around 11:30 a.m. on Monday, officers spotted the suspect near Ellen Street and Ross Avenue and took him into custody. During the arrest, police found a sawed-off rifle, ammunition, and 13.6 grams of fentanyl in his possession.
The man was turned over to the Major Crimes Unit for the outstanding robbery warrant. Police also discovered an additional warrant against him.
The 30-year-old has been charged with firearm-related offences, drug trafficking, and multiple probation violations. He remains in custody.
