The newspaper, now the only truly locally-owned daily publication in Manitoba, has reaffirmed its commitment to unbiased, accurate, and truthful local news. As part of this commitment, the Sun is reaching out to community organizations to help amplify their messages.
Kevin Klein, President and CEO of the Klein Group, announced that the newspaper will offer available space in its daily publications to registered charities and not-for-profit organizations at no cost. This initiative aims to support the vital work these groups do within the Winnipeg community by providing them with a platform to reach a wider audience.
“This is a genuine offer to registered Manitoba charities only,” Klein said. “We value the incredible contributions that not-for-profit organizations make to our community, and we want to help them get their message out to as many Winnipeggers as possible.”
Organizations interested in taking advantage of this offer are encouraged to contact Kevin Klein directly at kevin@kleinmedia.ca. The newspaper is asking its readers and community members to share this information widely so that more local groups can benefit from the opportunity.
The Winnipeg Sun’s initiative represents a step towards fostering a stronger community, one where local organizations are given the support they need to thrive. As Klein put it, “Let’s make Winnipeg better together.”
