A 13-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with a break and enter at a commercial business in the 800 block of Elizabeth Road. The incident occurred on Dec. 23, 2024, at approximately 10 p.m. when Winnipeg police responded to a report of a break and enter.

Officers responding to the call said a baseball bat was used to break a window and gain entry to the business, causing approximately $4,000 in damage and approximately $500 worth of merchandise was stolen. No injuries were reported.
At approximately 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, the suspect was arrested without incident at Police Headquarters.
The 13-year-old male, from Winnipeg, has been charged with break, enter, and theft and was detained in custody.
