A 45-year-old woman was run over by her own truck during a carjacking Saturday afternoon in downtown Winnipeg.
The woman was robbed of her Toyota Tundra in a parking lot near York Avenue and Carlton Street at about 2:12 p.m. The driver ran over the woman while driving off, said police.
The victim suffered significant injuries and is currently in stable condition.
The stolen vehicle was later recovered in the Elmwood area. No arrests have yet been made according to police.
