A woman who was airlifted to Winnipeg but left Grace Hospital before she was treated has been found.

The Winnipeg Police Service said in a news release Tuesday morning that Melissa Duck, 42, had been located and was safe. Duck, who had a potentially life-threatening condition, had been airlifted to the city from a remote community in northern Manitoba.

The WPS asked for the public’s help in finding Duck and released images of her Monday afternoon after being contacted by the hospital at about 8 p.m. Sunday.
