There’s the pitch… and s’all good, man.
Actor Bob Odenkirk, better known as slimy, sad-sack New Mexico drug-ring lawyer Saul Goodman on award-winning U.S. TV series Breaking Bad and prequel/sequel Better Call Saul, threw out the first pitch Saturday evening at Blue Cross Park before the Goldeyes took on the Sioux City Explorers in American Association of Independent Professional Baseball action.
Odenkirk is in the city shooting Nobody 2, the sequel to the locally shot 2021 Netflix action/thriller hit he starred in with Connie Nielsen as married couple Hutch and Becca Mansell, whose suburban life is shattered when thieves break into their home one night.
The production is scheduled to wrap sometime in September.
